Race and Ethnic Relations
Description:The sociological study of race and ethnicity in the United States. The course takes a comparative approach in analyzing group interaction, prejudice, privilege, and discrimination. Students will explore the history of immigration, the process of assimilation, and dominant-minority relations over time.
Recommended Preparation:Eligibility for ENGL 1A or equivalent
Transferability:CSU; UC 
Repeatability:Two Repeats if Grade was D, F, NC, or NP
