I have had a lifelong fascination with Britain and Ireland along with the former British Empire. I have traveled widely across the United Kingdom, Ireland and many of the British Commonwealth countries. I have been fortunate enough to attend universities in Australia and the United Kingdom.

I am a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and of the Royal Society of Asian Affairs. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society.

I have traveled worldwide with my experiences taking me to five continents and eighteen countries. With extensive travels in the British Isles, Asia and Australia. Some of my more memorable travels are riding horses with nomads in Mongolia, camping across the Outback of Australia on my way to Alice Springs and having tea at Parliament in the United Kingdom.
