Katherine comes to SRJC with a wide spectrum of nursing experience in the clinical,academic, and consulting spheres. A California native, she received her BSN from San Diego State University, and has practiced in the clinical areas of medical-surgical and perioperative nursing, and as an independent nurse consultant in San Diego and Atlanta. She earned her MSN with a concentration in nursing education from Mercer University in Atlanta, where she has taught as adjunct clinical faculty. Katherine's PhD dissertation was focused on the integration of high fidelity simulation technology in nursing education curricula.
