My goal as a history instructor is to inspire in students critical reading and writing skills, a fascination with stories that explain our nation, and the scholarly methods and ethics needed to be successful professionals. I also believe my courses provide historically-based solutions for the leaders of tomorrow. My professional and academic background includes work as a business manager, library research assistant, freelance journalist, inventory specialist, and employee trainer.
