Professional Areas of Interest

I am interested in species interactions, population biology, and biological conservation.  My research and field experiences have focused on conservation of native pollinator populations, demography of the native solitary bee, Osmia lignaria, the influence of timber harvest on native ant communities, ant-mediated seed dispersal, and the influence of plant invasion and herbicide use on native pollinator and avian communities.
