For those of you inquiring about general information or course substitutions for our various Bookkeeping certificates, please email me (after the Winter Break) or see a counselor.  You may also want to visit the Business Administration Department website at www.santarosa.edu/bad.  There you will find a variety of information, including how to test out of our basic Keyboarding and 10-Key classes, as well as Business English (BGN 71), and Practical Business Math (BGN81).

Once you have applied to the college, you do not need to apply to get into any of our bookkeeping certificate programs.  Simply enroll in the required courses, and then apply for the certificate during your last semester of coursework.

It is worth noting that we do not waive courses. You must take a higher-level course or request a substitution, both of which must be approved by me, or the Business Department Chairperson,  Roy Gattinella (rgattinella@santarosa.edu).  Also, if you wish to transfer courses from another college, that institution must be accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or related entities.  We do not accept courses from Empire College.

The SRJC bookstore has all relevant textbook information. You will not receive a reply from me regarding textbook inquiries.
