Academic Experience

I have taught part time in the Child Development Department at SRJC since 1988. I also recently taught at Sonoma State University. In the past I also taught at Napa Valley College and College of Marin as well as provided in-service training for early care and education programs in Sonoma county.

I grew up in Colorado and came to California in 1974 to finish my last two years of college at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. After directing the Cal Poly Children's Center for five years, I moved to Sonoma County.  My passion has been working in early childhood programs, specifically administration of these programs.  I have a daughter who is an attorney and a son who is an engineer. My husband and I enjoy spending time with family, playing with our grandchildren, travelling, and gardening.
