Academic Experience

I  began teaching at Santa Rosa Junior College in 1996 while concurrently teaching part time at Napa Valley College, Lewis Adult School, and Yuba College. Prior to relocating to the North Bay, I had held full-time positions at these institutions: Senior Instructor at English Language Service Center in Santa Monica, CA; Instructor at the Chinatown Resources Development Center in San Francisco, CA; and Secondary School Teacher for the U.S. Peace Corps in Congo-Kinshasa, Central Africa. I had also taught part time for several years in the Division of Adult & Career Education, Los Angeles Unified School District.
