At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.   Design and create wedding floral arrangements and personal flowers that meet client needs and expectations.
2.   Work effectively to coordinate wedding flowers with client, members of the bridal party, caterers, and others involved in a wedding.

1.  Properly handle flowers and greens to preserve freshness and visual appeal.
2.  Summarize the elements involved in performing a wedding consultation.
3.  Apply techniques for creating a variety of types of wedding bouquets and personal flowers.
4.  Coordinate floral designs with gowns and other wedding elements.
5.  Work effectively with caterers, bakers, and site officials.
6.  Locate and purchase flowers and accessories appropriate for wedding designs.
7.  Create wedding displays for use at wedding and reception sites.

2.  Midterm design project.
3.  Final design project and presentation.
