At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Work as a member of the dental health team in patient care facilities.
2. Perform the duties of a chairside dental assistant in a general dentistry practice.
3. Perform sterilization and laboratory duties.
4. Compare experiences in various clinical settings.
5. Perform coronal polish procedures under the supervision of a dentist.
6. Demonstrate skills in performing Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) examination tasks at the
    novice level.
7. Demonstrate at the novice level clinical performance documentation.
