COURSE CONTENT

Student Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.  Expand nursing knowledge beyond the boundaries of the Associate Degree in Nursing curriculum.

 

Objectives:

The students will:

1. Plan an independent study in a specified area of nursing theory or practice.

2. Conduct the study via literature search, clinical investigation, or both.

3. Present the results of the study in a way that demonstrates the student's expanded knowledge.

Topics and Scope

Content will vary with the student, but would generally capitalize on a student's special interests or abilities.
