Students draw upon principles of anatomy and physiology, patient care, radiation protection, and radiographic technique in the practice of patient positioning. 1. position patients accurately in all radiologic and fluoroscopic
procedures as taught in RT 61A and RT 61B.
2. successfully complete the required schedule of competencies.
3. complete the clinical hour requirements.

2. Practice transporting and care of patients of all ages and health
conditions.
3. Practice appropriate radiation protection to patients of all ages and
health conditions, self, and others.
