At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Demonstrate ability to perform a wedding consultation.
2. Apply the techniques in developing:
A. Wedding bouquets
1. colonial
2. cascade
3. free form
4. crescent
3. Identify various types of bridal gowns to coordinate appropriate
floral designs.
4. Have basic skills to apply in the workplace as a consultant to
caterers, bakers, church officials, etc.
5. Locate and purchase flowers and accessories appropriate for
specific wedding style.
6. Apply appropriate care and handling for flowers used.
7. Create a wedding display that will be used in a church (alter
and pews) reception (cake table, head table, buffet table).
