At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

Students will:
1. Develop a task specific understanding of organic grape growing.
2. Identify a wide variety of key elements, sub-elements, their
relationships and implications in the processes of organic grape growing.
3. Diagram these elements, sub-elements, etc. in a "knowledge mapping"
format for future use and reference.
4. Describe in detail a variety of organic grape growing methods, their
purposes, strengths, weaknesses and appropriate applications.
5. Demonstrate a familiarity with organic grape growers in Sonoma County.
6. Create a "course book" as a reference guide, including all materials
presented, their own notes, observations, etc. and a host of handouts,
readouts and printouts on the specifics of organic viticulture.
7. Recommend specific organic grape growing techniques for their own
professional situations or that of a friend, relative, professional
acquaintance, etc.

States, in California, and specifically Sonoma County.
3. Survey of a variety of Organic Grape methods, their strengths,
