2. Demonstrate and perform the skills required to evaluate, document, and train new trainees as a Field Training Officer
3. Identify and demonstrate the essential principles of adult learning

1. Evaluate a trainee's performance, utilizing POST standard evaluation guidelines
2. Document a trainee's performance in accordance with POST standards
3. Determine necessary training needed for the trainee to perform as a solo officer
4. Apply adult learning concepts to meet the needs of the trainee
5. Observe, practice, and discuss crisis intervention techniques (CIT)
