Students who are not meeting the minimum psychomotor, knowledge or performance criteria for State or Federally certified law enforcement or correction courses will use the computer lab/simulators, psychomotor skills practice, performance practice, and instructor led reviews (at a self-paced rate) to meet the standards of these courses. COURSE CONTENT

Student Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Demonstrate the ability to meet  the minimum psychomotor,

2. Obtain knowledge or performance criteria for State or Federally certified law enforcement or correction courses.

 

Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Employ and operate various self-paced computer based instructional programs.

2. Explore and utilize various databases to augment knowledge regarding Administration of Justice courses.

3. Develop and demonstrate appropriate emergency vehicle driving and use of force decision making using simulators.

4. Drill and practice psychomotor skills to develop minimum competency.

5. Practice scenarios to develop minimum competency.

6. Participate in instructor led test review sessions to identify errors and improve knowledge.

7. Complete self-paced workbook assignments to enhance knowledge and understanding of instructional material.
