At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.  Examine employment opportunities for QUALIFIED professional office
   support staff.
2.  Collect and compare classified ads for specific occupational titles
   in Sonoma and San Francisco counties.
3.  Utilize library, career center, and business as sources of
   information.
4.  Analyze and evaluate office careers for market trends/employer
   expectations.
5.  Identify office careers of interest.
6.  Participate in pre-employment activities.
7.  Develop interviewing skills through review of typing questions,
   development of answers and questions to ask, and participation in
   interviews.
8.  Compose interview follow-up letters.
9.  Formulate a marketing plan for securing employment in today's
