At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

2.Perform the duties of a chairside dental assistant in a general dentistry practice.
3.Perform sterilization and laboratory duties.
4.Compare experiences in various clinical settings.
5.Perform 2 coronal polish procedures under the supervision of a dentist.
6.Demonstrate skills in performing Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) examination tasks at the novice level.
7.Demonstrate at the novice level clinical performance documentation.
