1. Approximately 135-175 total pages of reading from texts, magazines, newspapers, and/or websites in preparation for circle session discussion topics

2. Presentation on a personal experience related to a specific class discussion topic

3. In-class journal writing on selected topics (15-20 minutes daily)

4. Project related to class discussion topics

Writing: Assessment tools that demonstrate writing skill and/or require students to select, organize and explain ideas in writing.		Writing 10 - 20%
