Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

     and private urban landscape.
 2.  Demonstrate safe and proper use of common hand and power tools.
 3.  Recommend management measures for tree, shrub, and lawn planting,
     including pruning, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
 4.  Recommend seasonal selection and planting methods for annuals and
     perennials.
 5.  Demonstrate proper pruning of common landscape plants.
 6.  Identify and use current periodicals relevant to landscape
     maintenance in western U.S.
