At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

The student will be able by the completion of the semester to:
I. Develop knowledge and skills needed to help in the planning of
the dance concert.
II. Perform the basic skills of modern, ballet, or jazz dance as
needed.
III. Apply the principles of dance composition.
IV. Provide opportunity to choreograph their own dances.
V. Provide opportunity to perform in a dance concert.
Topics and Scope

performance in the concert.
II. Students are required to participate in some pre-production
aspect of the concert.
