Adobe Photoshop Elements is a low end image editing program. Designed for the graphics beginner; course uses Elements to enhance images from a digital camera or scanner. It includes an introduction to digital images, pixel painting, layer manipulation, type, and filters.

2. Open, edit, and save digital images
3. View images at varying magnifications
4. Use the layers palette to show, hide, delete, and reorder layers
5. Choose foreground and background colors
6. Paint on an image
7. Apply a gradient to an image
8. Place type with a layer effect to an image
9. Apply filters to selected images
10. Remove red-eye effects from images
11. Follow recipes in order to complete multi-step tasks
