COURSE CONTENT

Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

  Students completing this course will be able to comprehend and

 demonstrate basic knowledgeability in the following areas. They

 will also be expected to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate

 their knowledge and comprehension of these same materials.

Topics and Scope

 1.   Introduction to Social Psychology.

2.   Person Perception.

3.   Attribution.

4.   Attitudes.

5.   Aggression.

6.   Helping Behavior.

7.   Social Influence.

8.   Group Dynamics.

9.   Rage, Prejudice, Discrimination, & Racism.

10.  Men, Women, and Social Behavior.

Assignments:

  Students enrolled in this class will be evaluated through written

 term or other papers and multiple choice type objective examinations.

 Homework will also be required. Approximately 2 hours of homework

 for each hour of lecture.
