COURSE CONTENT

Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

     The primary objective of this course is to continue to provide the
student with skill practice to develop advanced level volleyball skills.
Offensive and defensive strategies plus play combinations will be
presented.  Advanced level skills will enhance students enjoyment of the
game.
    At the completion of the course, students will have participated
and gained proficiency in advancd level volleyball skills and developed
a greater understanding of game strategies and play combinations.
    1. Demonstrate advanced level volleyball skills.
    2. Participate in game-like drills in preparation for match play.
    3. Participate in conditioning and stretching, exercises applicable
       to advanced volleyball.
    4. Demonstrate knowledge of rules, scoring, and etiquette for two
        and six person match play.
    5. Participate in 2 person, 3 person, 4 person, and 6 person games.
    6. Acquire further knowledge of game tactics and strategies for
       participation in a variety of offensive and defensive systems
       plus play combinations.
