Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

     common in the industry.
 2.  Select plants appropriate to desired function, climate, exposure,
     and maintenance requirements.
 3.  Recommend appropriate cultural practices.
 4.  Recommend plants to provide desired form, foliage, and flower
     characteristics.
 5.  Demonstrate correct usage of current botanical nomenclature.
 6.  Use plant keys to identify specimens.
 7.  Recommend plants for low water use environments.
