Description:
The Automotive Technology: Electric and Electronic Systems Specialist Skills Certificate covers the fundamentals of automotive electrical and electronic systems including service and repair of starting, charging, and other chassis electrical systems. Students are introduced to computer controlled systems.
This certificate prepares students to pass the A6 ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification exam.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this certificate, the student will be able to:
- Utilize different types of electrical diagnostic test equipment.
