The Culinary Arts Support Services Skills Certificate is an entry-level program designed to provide a foundation of knowledge and skills for students or workers in the food industry support services sector. Jobs in this area include dishwashers, prep cooks, kitchen maintenance, and front of the house maintenance personnel.

Students interested in career advancement may wish to pursue other culinary certificates, such as Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, or Front House Operations. More information about the Culinary Arts programs can be found at the Culinary Arts website.

It is important that students who are completing an Associate Degree and desire to transfer to a four-year institution meet with a counselor to plan their lower division coursework.
