Description:
The Computer Studies: Microsoft Excel Entry-Level Skills Certificate provides an entry-level course of study in Microsoft Excel. This
course of study helps prepare the student to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) industry-standard exam in Microsoft Excel. A person who passes the Excel MOS exam has earned a certification that validates entry-level skills in creating and editing a workbook with multiple sheets for a variety of purposes and situations. Examples include professional-looking budgets, team performance charts, sales invoices, and exercise logs. Candidate roles might include students, clerical workers, bookkeepers, instructors, and others. This certificate stacks with the Computer Studies: Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate, which builds on this certificate to add more advanced Office skills.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:
- Create, edit, and format Excel worksheets;
- Organize multiple worksheets and workbooks;
- Use advanced Excel tools such as macros and VBA, Solver, Scenarios, PivotTables and Pivot Charts.
