Description:
The Wine Studies: Wine and Vines Certificate of Achievement prepares students with skills such as liaison between winemaker and vineyard manager in a winery, analysis of viticulture and winemaking information, and abilitiy to provide information and answer questions about wine and winery practices for the public, wine buyers and other industry professionals.
This program prepares students for a variety of positions in the wine industry, including but not limited to: Vineyard Liaison, Grower Relations Manager, Wine Educator.
For students interested in an Associate degree, a Wine Studies: Wine and Vines major is available.

Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this certificate, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of skills such as liaison between winemaker and vineyard manager in a winery, and analysis of viticulture and winemaking information; and
- demonstrate ability to provide information and answer questions about wine and winery practices for the public, wine buyers and other industry professionals.
