Description:
The Architecture and Construction Technology: Construction Management Certificate of Achievement prepares students for technical positions in construction management professions.
The Construction Management option prepares students for employment as construction management technicians in the construction industry in Sonoma County. Typically a construction management technician assists a construction manager to estimate the amount and costs of materials for a project and the time required to build a project; to plan and schedule the work to be done, including materials, equipment, and workers; to control the project through the coordination of the work of the contractor's employees and subcontractors; and to keep a project on schedule and within budget.
