Description:
The Aeronautical and Aviation Technology Career Certificate prepares students to work in several aviation occupational areas, including commercial, agricultural, and photogrammetry.
Aircraft pilots work in several occupational areas: commercial, agricultural, and photogrammetry.
Commercial pilot replacement openings will occur as pilots hired during the expansion of the 1960's reach retirement age. Growing population and income are expected to stimulate the demand for air travel. The majority of Agricultural Pilots are 48 years of age or older and more opportunities will open as they retire. Satellites have actually increased the demand for aerial photography, making a slight increase in the opportunities for Photogrammetry Pilots.
