Associate Degree Requirements:

The major is one of several requirements students need to fulfill in order to be awarded the Associate Degree, the highest level of academic achievement recognized by Santa Rosa Junior College. Please note that all of the following requirements must be met in order for the degree to be conferred:

For all students admitted for the Fall 2009 term or any term thereafter, a grade of "C" or better, or "P" if the course is taken on a pass/no pass basis, is required for each course applied toward the major.

Description:

The Architecture and Construction Technology: Construction Management program prepares students for employment as construction management technicians in the construction industry in Sonoma County. Students entering the program will complete a common core of courses focusing on topics and skills necessary for success in the industry. Further skills will be addressed during that program that enable students to assist construction managers in estimating amounts and costs of materials and the time required to complete projects; planning and scheduling the work to be done, including materials, equipment, and workers; controling the project through coordination of the work of employees and subcontractors; and keeping a project on schedule and within budget.
