Important Information About This Class:

This section features a FOUR-WEEK INTENSE ACCELERATED COURSE FORMAT. THIS MEANS IT PROGRESSES FOUR TIMES AS FAST AS A REGULAR SEMESTER. This course is an in-person class with online asynchronous components. Students will attend seven 3-hour classes, MW on 6/16, 6/18, 6/23, 6/25, 6/30, 7/2, and 7/9. The remainder of the coursework will be completed asynchronously. BE AWARE THAT THE ACCELERATED FORMAT NECESSITATES 7-10 HOURS OF ASYNCHRONOUS COURSEWORK WEEKLY, IN ADDITION TO ASSIGNMENTS, READINGS AND IN-PERSON CLASSES. Students will give both live and video-recorded speeches and presentations.

Synchronous Online:

The class has no meeting times or days. Students view instructional materials and complete assignments online on their own time following a schedule of due dates.
