Important Information About This Class:

This is a 5-day field trip to Yosemite and the eastern Sierra Nevada (conditions permitting). There is an organizational meeting Monday, 7/23 from 5:00-7:00pm in Rm 2042, Lark Hall. Attendance at this pre-trip meeting is mandatory unless prior arrangements are made with the instructor. Field trip dates: Sunday-Thursday, 8/2-8/6. Mandatory post-trip meeting on 8/12, 5:00-6:00pm in 2042. Field trip involves camping overnight and strenuous hiking. Good overall health and fitness are recommended for anyone considering taking this course. Students pay for camping and park entrance fees. Total amount to be determined before the class begins.
