Important Information About This Class:

Class Focuses on Autobiographical Writing. Merriam Webster defines autobiography as: “A written account of a person’s life in their own words.” In this course, we are going to think of autobiography in an expansive way, in a way that includes not just prose, but poetry, prose poetry, flash fiction, and multi-media. Students will learn about subcategories of the autobiography genre and get the opportunity to practice and discuss autobiographical writing. Whether you have a daily writing practice, or have never written before, if you’ve often felt compelled to tell your own story, come join us.
