Important Information About This Class:

This course delivers the State Fire Training 2025 curriculum. In addition to the scheduled class times, students must attend a mandatory orientation session on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Upon successful completion, students will earn a Certificate of Completion from a State Board of Fire Services Accredited Regional Academy as well as a CAL FIRE Basic Firefighter Certificate. The required course textbook is Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills and Hazardous Materials Response, 5th Edition (ISBN: 9781284283051, © 2025, 1360 pages); students do not need to purchase this book, as it will be supplied at orientation.
