Important Information About This Class:

The below sections are for students who have declared a major, completed classes in their major, and who have a position related to their major. An add code must be requested through the Internship Coordinator by emailing Amy Merkel at amerkel@santarosa.edu. Include your student ID, major and number of units requested. Coursework is offered online through the Canvas platform, with two required 1-on-1 meetings with an assigned instructor. Your assigned instructor will contact you by the third week of classes to set up in-person meetings (virtual by exception). You must also complete an Employment Information Form, found in your portal, when you register. Failing to complete this form will result in being dropped from the course. Work hours 52.5 hours per unit = 1 unit.

Synchronous vs. Asynchronous Definitions:

Synchronous Online:

The class has no meeting times or days. Students view instructional materials and complete assignments online on their own time following a schedule of due dates.
