At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate parasite control methods for maintenance of a healthy horse.
2. List the symptoms of Colic Pigeon Fever and Tying Up Syndrome.
3. Demonstrate basic first aid procedures.
4. Participate in the evaluation of a horse during a pre-purchase exam.
5. Develop a preventative health plan for our area.
6. Identify reproductive parts and demonstrate the understanding of
equine reproductive health.
