3. Learn names of dances, country of origin, formation and rhythms
4. Memorize leader's calls to dances or native vocabulary for dance steps
5. Participate in local folk dance events or festivals as approved by instructor; or a written critique of a dance piece or performance (based on a performance from the current semester, or for video viewing option, instructor will provide or approve a video). (2 - 3 pages)
