At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Compute whole number and decimal problems as they relate to the
   workplace
2. Compute problems using fractions, mixed numbers, and conversions
   between fractions and decimals as they relate to the workplace
3. Compute proportions and percent problems used in the workplace
4. Use the metric system in arithmetic problems that relate to the
   workplace
5. Interpret statistics through graphs and charts.

3. Application assignments that relate general arithmetic skills to the
