Theory and practice of photography.  Basic skills in developing, enlarging composition, print quality, and photography a variety of assigned subjects.  In this format there is one hour of lecture and two hours of lab per week.  Part A is prerequisite to Part B.  Also offered as Art 36 for three units, which meets 2 hours lecture and four hours lab per week.

Basic interest in art and photography. Students should have a good quality standard or miniature camera.
