COURSE CONTENT

Student Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.  Demonstrate correct wiring for heating, air conditioning, and security systems; and for TV and

    telephone outlets.

2.  Describe safety codes applicable to electrical wiring installations.

At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Identify and use electrical boxes and fittings.

2. Describe and utilize panel boards.

3. Differentiate and illustrate bonding.

4. Summarize and demonstrate grounding.

5. Demonstrate correct wiring for heating and air conditioning systems.

6. Illustrate and demonstrate security alarm systems.

7. Describe and utilize signal wiring.

8. Demonstrate and illustrate TV and telephone outlet installation.

9.  Illustrate and evaluate safety codes.
